SweetLabs's websites and software applications (“Services”) and third party partners utilize various technologies, such as cookies, web beacons, and local storage to collect information.

1. What are cookies and other tracking technologies?

a. Cookies

Cookies are small bits of information stored in web browsers when you visit websites or use our software. This information may include page settings, your state information such as dialogs you have seen or interfaces you have interacted with, and help recognize you on your next visit or use.

a. Web Beacons

Web beacons, also referred to as tracking pixels, are small transparent images which are used to indicate whether a page has been viewed, also known as impression tracking.

a. Local Storage

Similar to cookies, local storage is a small data store internal to Services and web browsers which locally store data to ensure the highest quality user experiences when using our software and Services.

2. How do we use them?

We use these technologies to customize our software, Services, and websites; to ensure the highest quality of user experiences; to remember your settings and application or website state from your last visit; to understand how our Services are being used by looking at aggregate usage trends; to present you with relevant interfaces and application content.

3. How can you opt out?

a. Websites you visit

Many web browsers allow you to manage your cookie preferences. You can set your browser to refuse all cookies, refuse third-party cookies, prompt to use cookies, and/or delete cookies. By refusing all cookies, some features and functionality may cease to function properly and disrupt our Services.

b. Google Analytics

Google Analytics collects standard internet log and usage information such as the number and frequency of visitors, what pages have been visited, the website you have visited prior to and following your visit to our sites, average time spent on pages, and other information which helps us determine which features on our sites are most important to you and working effectively. We also use Google Analytics to report to our partners on the status of features within our application. We make every effort to instruct Google Analytics to not store internet protocol addresses (“IP addresses”) and retain the information for 26 months.

Google operates independently from us and has its own privacy policy, which we strongly suggest you review. Google may use the information collected through Google Analytics to evaluate your activity on our site. For more information, see Google Analytics Privacy and Data Sharing.

c. Desktop software

We consider our usage of cookies and other technologies within our desktop software, Pokki and App Explorer, to be “essential and necessary” for the Services to function. Should you not agree with the usage of cookies within these applications, our recommendation is to cease using our software or uninstall our software from your computer.
